I'm a former educator who discovered my passion for writing after introducing a writer’s workshop to my students. I soon found a whole world of characters and stories living inside of my mind. Between writing and being a mom, I attempt to learn guitar, sing along to the radio (loudly), perform weekly on an improv team and embrace my newfound addiction to running. My first novel, WRECKAGE, debuted in March 2015 followed by Wall Street Journal bestseller WHEN I'M GONE in March 2016, WORKING FIRE followed soon after in August 2017, THE WAITING ROOM in August of 2018, WHAT IT SEEMS, March 2020 and WHAT'S LEFT UNSAID, July 2021.
