This book was a labor of love. I’ve never had a character come to me so clearly and shout that her story needed to be told. Though we all met Vivian in When We Were Enemies the book ended just before her rise to fame and I knew there was so much more to her origin story. Though it was inspired by When We Were Enemies, I wrote When We Chased the Light as a stand-alone novel, and I am so grateful to everyone who supported this endeavor along the way.
